every girl loves to go shopping on her own.
And with the end of the holidays coming up soon and the fact that school was starting up. Arianna was counting the days until the first of September. To know that soon she would be able to get away from her father and be with her friends. But now. Now was the time to shop. That’s right every girls pet love. Shopping. With September first was slowly making its way around the corner. Students of Hogwarts, new and old, knew that they needed to get their things together for a new year.
This meant one thing. A day trip to the lovely Diagon Alley. Well I wouldn't really call the alley lovely. But for someone who loves shopping as much as a young Arianna. Anything to do with shopping was fine by her. And if it got her out of the house. That was even better. And this was what she was doing on this fine August morning. Getting out the family manor and going shopping. She needed to get her new school things and now that she had the list of things that she needed. She could go. And she was going to go without her parents or her siblings, as they had all gone the week before when she was sick. So this was truly a blessing.
Leaving the house, via the Floo Network. Not really making eye contact with anyone as she wandered through the pub and out the back. Taping the bricks with her wand, just like her grandfather had shown her. Lorelai watched as the bricks moved to make the entrance to the alley. And to her surprise. It was packed. The day that she had visited the alley, it was quite and not many people where there. But today. There were families wandering around the streets. Walking in and out of the shops with bags in their hands. And as she made her way through the crowd. She noticed that there were young people, her age and younger, wandering around with their parents and parcels in their hands. They had to be students from Hogwarts. She continued to make her way through the crowd. Wandering into a store that sold trunks, as she needed a new one. And when she came out, she was pulling a black and purple trunk behind her. With her name in celtic writing on the front of it in pink.
Sighing once more. Arianna looked around as she made her way towards the clothes store that her grandfather had shown her. Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions. And when she reached it. Lorelai opened the door and walked in. Looking around as she pulled out a piece of parchment that her mother had given her to give to the shop owner. It had all her sizes on it and what she needed.
“Can I help you?”
Said a voice from behind Arianna, which made her jump. And she turned around to see a old lady standing behind the counter with a smile upon her face. “Yes, I am here to get some school robes and I was asked to give this to you" Arianna said as she walked up to the counter and handed Madam Malkin the piece of parchment. And after reading it. Malkin wandered off into the back. Watching her, Lorelai slightly arched her eyebrow as she rolled her eyes and turned around. Leaning back against the counter, looking out the window. Watching the people walk by.
